Jody Lee Harris

Jody Lee Harris was born on 28th February 1986 in South East London and caught the acting bug when she was 11 and joined a local theatre school.  Jody later at the age of 14 joined D&B Theatre school and at 15 had her first experience on set as an extra on the BBC1 children’s program ‘The Queen’s Nose’.  Jody had her first small role in a student short film called Karma in 2007 and in the summer took acting classes at the Method Studio London with Giles Foreman.

In April 2008 at the age of 22 Jody sadly lost her mother after a 3 and half year battle of lung cancer, she was only 49.  Jody’s mother Linda Gordon also enjoyed acting and wanted to pursue it further after getting an advert out of 250 women which was shot in Holland.  Jody now feels that she wants to go for a career in acting like never before and was very pleased when she received the news that she had got the lead role of Debbie in Desperate Pursuit. This is Jody’s first lead and promising film role yet.
